“പലപ്പോഴും സ്ത്രീകള്‍ അവഹേളിക്കപ്പെടുകയും മര്‍ദ്ദിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ബലാല്‍സംഗത്തിന് ഇരയാവുകയും വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയിലേയ്ക്ക് വലിച്ചിഴക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ട്. മെച്ചപ്പെട്ടൊരു ലോകം വേണമെങ്കില്‍ അതു നന്മയും സമാധാനവുമുള്ളൊരു ഭവനമായിരിക്കണം. എങ്കില്‍ നാം എല്ലാവരും ഓരോ സ്ത്രീയുടെയും അന്തസ്സിനായി പോരാടേണ്ടതുണ്ട്.”
