All are invited to join in praying a rosary 'aux flambeaux' (by torchlight) in St. Peter's Square every Saturday evening in October, a month especially dedicated to the rosary, a statement from the Holy See Press Office announced.

The first of the weekly initiatives takes place tonight, 7 October, the Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Rosary.

Cardinal Mario Grech, Secretary General of the General Secretariat of the Synod, will preside over this first edition of the month-long event.
