Undercover and heavily armed police accompanied a 14-year-old boy to a waiting car.

Named only as KK, he was allegedly responsible for shooting to death at least nine people, nearly all children, at the Vladislav Ribnikar primary school in Belgrade.

The government said another six pupils and a teacher were injured.
Officials say the suspect allegedly used his father's gun for the country's worst school massacre in recent memory.
