Christmas: finding the strength and the courage to forgive

As the Octave of Christmas continues, we reflect on the importance of forgiveness, remembering that God sent his Son so that we may be forgiven.

By Francesca Merlo

In a series of reflections on the theme of forgiveness, we have been exploring the gift of forgiving, a gift we have all received from God who sent His Son so that all of us might receive forgiveness.

Today we hear from Marcello, a 32-year-old British-Italian.

In this programme by Francesca Merlo, Marcello speaks about an extremely painful event in his life that changed him, and about how he has managed to forgive those who hurt him.
