當地上的強權者為自己的權勢打造“寶座”時，天主選擇了一個不舒適的寶座即十字架，並在十字架上藉著捨棄性命來統治世界。

Mentre i grandi della Terra si costruiscono “troni” per il proprio potere, Dio sceglie un trono scomodo, la croce, dal quale regnare dando la vita.

While the great ones of the Earth build themselves ‘thrones’ for their own power, God chooses an uncomfortable throne, the cross, from which to reign by giving his life.

Magnatibus Terrae thronos suae potestatis sibi exstruentibus, Deus eligit thronum incommodum, Crucem scilicet, e qua regnat largiens vitam.
