Four Palestinians killed at Gaza frontier amid continuing violence

As well as those killed, hundreds of people were injured by gunfire and tear gas.
Again, Israel insisted it was defending its border against crowds throwing stones and burning tyres.
The Israeli army also claimed at least two Palestinians fired guns, whilst they said others had thrown grenades.
Meanwhile, a group of doctors are now preparing to open a surgical unit at the main Gaza hospital in an effort to treat those injured during clashes at the border.
Surgeons, along with physiotherapists, will work on patients requiring operations and treatment for gunshot wounds.
