The wait is over for the people of Madagascar

The people of Madagascar have been looking forward a long time to Pope Francis' visit. Their wait is now over.

Images and banners welcoming the Pope can be seen on all the streets of Madagascar's capital of Antananarivo.

Madagascar's President, Andry Rajoelina, has personally followed the organization of Pope Francis' visit.

Pope Francis' visit is front page news in all of Madagascar's daily newspapers.

More than 900,000 people are expected to participate in Mass on Sunday with Pope Francis presiding.
