Pope Francis leads a Penitential Celebration in St Peter's Basilica. This celebration opened the "24 Hours for the Lord" Lenten prayer combining Eucharistic adoration and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Thousands gathered with Pope Francis in St Peter's Basilica. During the celebration, Pope Francis went to confession, and then heard the confessions of some of the people participating in the event.
