Kettlekamp at WMOF: Protecting children, vulnerable adults is God given gift

Teresa Morris Kettelkamp, a member of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors was part of a panel on the theme “Dignity and Safety in a Digital Age: Facing new Challenges for Families” at the World Meeting of Families in Dublin on August 22.

Teresa Kettelkamp, who worked for the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors created by Pope Francis and headed by Cardinal O’Malley of Boston, USA, speaks of the foundation for our beliefs. She says that our beliefs should be based on the Catholic foundation of two core concepts, the Sanctity of life for our people and the dignity of the human person that we are made in the image and likeness of God. To her, protecting children and the vulnerable adults is a God given gift which each of us are called to use.
